POSITION SUMMARY: This position reports directly to the Behavioral Health Nurse Manager.# Responsible for providing direct clinical services on the Behavioral Health Unit for both adolescents and adults.

# The incumbent, under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist will be involved in the development and coordination of groups and activities.# Accountable for providing individual and group treatment based upon treatment plan and unit needs.# In close collaboration with the Occupational Therapist, will ensure that treatment interventions are appropriate, meeting patient#s individual functional status and up-to-date with current discipline practices.

National Occupational Therapist Assistant Certification and State of Connecticut Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license required.
